Anxiety and fear strips away courage and makes great performances impossible.  Doubt makes even the best decisions feel difficult and causes procrastination.  Anger rips your focus away from your goals.  Frustration can only serve to make you quit.  Guilt makes it impossible to enjoy any successes you achieve.  Jealousy and envy create dishonesty, hate and corruption.

Who you believe you are is the foundation for everything you will do and experience in your lifetime.  This is because you evaluate all you see and do through "self-esteem-colored" glasses.

Within the heart of every motivated person is an inexhaustible fire that is ignited by their purpose. That fire is passion! Passion fuels energy; and provides the momentum to plow through frustrations and challenging times and supplies the joy when external rewards are scarce. Are you passionate about your life? Do you love what you do? Imagine how much richer your life could be if you injected passion into your life and career on a day-to-day basis. When you choose goals and activities that align with your purpose and support your natural strengths and loves, passion will automatically follow.

Purpose: It wasn't until I discovered my true purpose that I experienced genuine direction in my life. Once I found my purpose, I finally had a guideline to use to evaluate which interests and activities to pursue both personally and professionally.

Now the entire process, and it is a process, didn't occur overnight. The process required self-reflection and patience-two qualities that are difficult for most of us. But once you identify your true purpose, it will inject a new-found vitality in your spirit. And, at the same time, will provide a sense of peace about your life and where you're going.

William Marsten, a prominent psychologist, asked 3000 men and women "what have you to live for?" 94% responded by saying they had no definite purpose in their life. 94%! That is tragic because purpose represents the why of life - why we are here. It's identifying our own special calling and the unique gifts, insights and contributions that we bring to the planet.

                                                 Our Mirror

The good you find in others is in you too.

The faults you find in others are your faults as well.

After all, to recognize something you must know it.

The possibilities you see in others are possible for you as well. The beauty you see around you is your beauty. The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the person you are.

To change your world, you must change yourself. To blame and complain will only make matters worse. Whatever you care about is your responsibility. What you see in others shows you yourself.

See the best in others, and you will be your best. Give to others, and you give to yourself. Appreciate beauty, and you will be beautiful. Admire creativity, and you will be creative.

Love, and you will be loved. Seek to understand, and you will be understood. Listen, and your voice will be heard.

How you deal with challenges will determine whether you achieve your goal or give up and settle for less than you deserve.  If we really want to create different results in our lives, we must become aware of how we interpret the "facts" or "events" of our lives and understand that our explanations often do not represent the "truth" of what's possible for us.  In a very real sense, facts are an objective account of the event that occurred.  No interpretation or meaning is attached.  For example: "I was rejected by a potential investor for my project," "My husband left me," "I lost my job," "I was diagnosed with an illness," "I can't get pregnant." Truth represents what's possible in any situation. "Each rejection brings me one step closer to an investor for my project," "I will find a new, better relationship," "I can find a better and more fulfilling career," "my health will improve," "I can adopt," and so on.

Many people believe that events control their lives and that their circumstances have shaped who they are today. It's not true. It's not the events of our lives that shape us, but how we respond to those events, what we think they mean, and whether challenges trigger the "giving up" reflex in us or motivate us to hang tough and keep fighting.

                                                Brilliance & Light

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us.

We ask ourselves "who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?"

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world!

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking back so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it?s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our Presence automatically liberates others!
